Enhancement of production depth and growth

With effect from January 1, 2023, Voit Stefan GmbH from Pleystein will be part of the WITRON Group. The company will be integrated into the WITRON Group in terms of personnel and organization as agreed between WITRON founder Walter Winkler and Stefan Voit at the end of November 2022. Both described the future partnership as a “mutual win-win-situation for further growth and innovation”. 

By acquiring the family-owned company from the Upper Palatinate (Germany) known as “Der Stahlfertiger”, WITRON has come even closer to its goal of being able to offer customers an ever-greater production depth “from a single source”. 

In addition to its original core business, Voit Stefan GmbH will support WITRON, the general contractor for logistics, in the production of platform constructions, the production of accessory parts for AS/RS steel construction, as well as in the production of parts for conveyor system elements. 

The internationally operating Voit Stefan GmbH, founded in 2002, currently employs more than 80 staff members and processes between 10,000 and 12,000 tons of steel annually on a production area of 25,000 square meters. Annual sales amounts to more than 20 million Euros. 

All staff members will be further employed by WITRON. Stefan Voit remains the responsible managing director of the company and will additionally strengthen the management board of the WITRON Group.
